Building upon families’ strengths and helping parents
create a home environment where children can become
caring, confident, and responsible
About Us
The mission of The Center for Parenting Education, founded in 1997, is to educate and support parents to raise their children in emotionally healthy ways so that their children can thrive personally, socially and academically.
We believe that parenting is the most important and challenging job any of us can have; yet, it receives little support or recognition in our society. There is very little formal training for this task and parents are often isolated and without adequate support networks. Our programs address these needs of parents in our communities.
All of our programs and services help parents to address the everyday challenges and concerns they face as they raise their children.
Get Parenting Support
Our online programs, which are free of charge, include:
Recommended Parenting Books, which lists many suggestions for parents who are seeking additional information on specific topics.
Resource Directory that refers parents to other organizations that provide further assistance for specific issues.
We also offer Personal Parenting Coaching, by phone, Facetime, or in a virtual meeting room. Meet one-on-one with a Parenting Educator to address the unique needs of your family.
If you have any parenting questions, email us at: info@parentingedu.org.
